Despite some deep researches in Resuscitation all descriptions of the first moments of dying are witnessed by patients who have not been beyond the threshold of a true Death, i.e. who did not visit consciously the Subtle World at least some hours after a complete release of the field capsule from the physical conductor-body.
Hence, the mystery of Death remains to be «a great and horrible Mystery», and Death itself continues to be an unknowable «country of silence», from where no one ever returned.
In this book, Oris, on the basis of his own methods of investigation of the phenomenon of Death in the course of long astral explorations of Consciousness, continues to remove, layer by layer, an ancient deposition from the most «unknowable Mystery of Being», thereby turning Death from a horrible enemy to a thoughtful friend that can help an inquisitive and dedicated seeker of spiritual wealth to know the eternal Divine Truth.

The Prayer after Release of the Soul
Everyone who holds the book in his/her hands has his/her own Consciousness. When you are reading I only receive your vibrations on a subconscious level to be able to help each of you, in conformity with your knowledge, to gain peace when you set out on your trip to a new understanding.
Nor everyone who reads these books containing Messages of our Spiritual Teachers can understand them, but the secret is that FAR FROM EVERYBODY SHOULD UNDERSTAND what has been written, because it is sufficient simply to GUESS THE TRUTH USING YOUR INNER UNDERSENSE in order to clear up your way and gain Love.
There are numerous ways, which lead to Cognition, but there are no two identical ones, as every human being goes his/her own way, both in Life and in Death. The present time is an exceptional opportunity for gaining full knowledge, but it will only be granted to THOSE WHO ARE USED TO ASKING QUESTIONS.

The mystery of Death is the Door through which the Soul, incarnated on Earth, leaves its physical body to enter the next stage of its existence in Eternity. According to the Orthodox Church «death is the separation of the soul from the body», whereupon the Soul remains on its own and the body is buried to disintegrate into its constituent elements.
This is a final human fate on Earth of which the Scripture says «then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it». The word of God also testifies, «What man is he that shall live and not see death?» «it is appointed unto men once to die», «in Adam all die», etc.
John Chrysostom writes how one should prepare himself for Death: «Death is horrible and fearful for those who do not know about the supreme love-wisdom, who do not know about afterlife, who believe that death is the destruction of being; of course, for such people death is horrible, and the very name of it is murderous. But we, who, by God’s grace, saw His unknown and mysterious sapience, and regarding death as transmigration should not flutter, but should exhilarate and be placable. Because we abandon the perishable life and pass over to a new one which is endless and infinitely better».

Jesus Christ warned his Christian followers that Life on Earth will be full of sorrow, and Death puts an end to sorrow, and, hence, it should be met with joy and humbleness, as it was defied by the Passion of the Son of God, Whose sacrifice turned Death into assumption, a temporary and quiet dream. In this respect, John Chrysostom foresaw the beginning of bliss in Death, exclaiming: «O death, where is your sting?».
There is hardly a single person who would not feel his Life near its end as a burden. No matter how dear Life is in his blossoming and fruitful years, but the desire to end the protracted old age is characteristic of virtually all aged people tired of diseases, of their helplessness and uselessness to society. Once King David said the Truth: «old age is labor and sorrow». Was it not the reason why he called out to God, «Alas! Because my coming continues». That is, no matter how hard the path of suffering is, everyone will only see Death in good time.
Suffering is the way of every person, as he is bound to suffer and cannot help suffering while he is here on Earth. For what we commonly refer to as the Judgement Day is actually our earth Life! Some suffer all their Life, others only for a short time, but very badly – everyone should tread this path in his/her earth Life, and there is no exception.
Suffering is the way of the Soul, which voluntarily chose a PARTICULAR incarnation so that it could obtain as much spiritual experience as possible and return to Love, that is to God. All our life can be defined as constant overbearing of ourselves. Every moment we should overbear something in ourselves and to affirm something new in our Consciousness, overcome the irrelevant pity for ourselves and finally remember about our True Self to make our own choice.
It is less tragic to take a wrong decision than not to take any decision, because in the latter case comes indifference and pity for yourself, which will finally put an end to your new spiritual undertakings. The pity for yourself prevents a high flight of the Soul striving to re-unite with its Spirit.
Occasionally it is very difficult to do it and the need for it may bring innumerable sufferings to those lacking self-confidence. These sufferings are aggravated every time when the time of choice comes again. Otherwise they will have to constantly escape from the world, where every person has to take some decision. Only in this way, by taking decisions and by learning one’s own errors, one can understand the TRUE meaning of Life.
That is why there are people who are so highly developed spiritually at the age of 14-15, that they are well aware of the meaning of Life. But there are also very old people who by the end of their earth way fall into despair, because they failed to understand not only the meaning of their Life, but to an even greater degree they fail understand the meaning of their forthcoming Death. This incomprehension brings vexation of mind and sorrow.
Physical suffering is given to human beings to experience physical pain, for only due to pain and sufferings giving rise to reflection, which make those who suffer give up their accustomed concepts, human beings are able to develop and improve spiritually and also realize the Grace of God and know Divine Love.
Often a very bad physical pain is given to an excessively material person to separate his/her Consciousness from the focus on material values or at least to stimulate his/her Thought about futility of any earthly desires and ponder over the quality of completion of his/her Life.
Sometimes violent pains in the course of dying are needed not to cause suffering to the dying, but to teach their relatives and intimates to share somebody else’s pain and feel it as if it were their own. This necessary participation in the suffering of another person makes it possible for people to open their heart center and remove callousness, egoism and finally start cultivating Love.
Strong suffering is not always an evidence of a heavy Karma, but they could voluntarily be taken by the embodied Soul to help the neighbor to pass over quicker to a higher level of spiritual realization. As soon as the Transition occurs, all pains associated with diseases of the physical body fully disappear, and the amputated limbs are immediately restored.
The main obstacle preventing people from the understanding of the true meaning of their life on Earth is the common and profoundly false concept of Death as a complete end of human existence. We have already mentioned that Death is a purely human concept, because actually all of us are Divine Sparks, and we are destined for constant renewal in various flows of the Single Energy.
Both our Physical World and the Subtle World consist of Matter, which is characterized not only by a different frequency of vibrations, but also by different qualities—they are charged with different magnetism. You know that two solid objects cannot occupy the same Space at the same time. But this law does not apply to two objects, one of which belongs to the Physical World, and the other belongs to the Subtle World.
Similar to water, which can simultaneously be both hot and moist, every cubic centimeter of Space can contain a cubic centimeter of the earth Matter and simultaneously the same amount of Matter of several Planes of the Subtle World. The Earth surface conventionally coincides with the lower, the densest «layer» of the Astral Plane.
In fact the real Hell for the Soul is not somewhere “there deep under the earth”, but is here, on this sinful Earth. Even on the second and the third (counting from the bottom) sub-planes of the Outer Sphere (Purgatory) Life is much better than on Earth, as there are no diseases, and no shortages in anything. The Soul which finds itself there first does not feel any difficulties, because the vibrations found in its astral body mostly correspond to the vibrations of the surrounding Space.
The imperfect Souls of silly, dull, narrow-minded but kind people linger on there with pleasure, which quite meets their lower spiritual needs. Only on the lowest sub-plane, divided into seven sub-levels, the ignoble Souls of evil people cloud their humiliating existence and the surrounding Space with a heavy blood-brown mist of evil Thoughts and unworthy desires.
The Souls staying there are humiliated by the awareness of their vices and inferiority, which makes them strive to eliminate gradually their negative qualities, in which they are voluntarily assisted by the Souls of higher sub-planes.
A huge number of voluntary assistants is also constantly with us, helping us even in such small things as crossing the street or a trip by subway lousy with so-called “fallen Spirits” for whom the meaning of their postmortal Life consists in doing evil to the living. It is from them we are protected by the Souls of the deceased who voluntarily offered to help the living on Earth.
Physically embodied, the human Consciousness can hardly understand that something exists eternally, that in the Existence of Consciousness has neither the end nor the beginning, but there exists only its constant change in the course of time at different levels of Being. In our previous books we attempted to give a reasoned proof of the complete absurdity and ignorance of the wrongful understanding of Death as «the end of everything». Whether we have succeeded in it, will be shown by the Act of the approaching Transfiguration of Earth and the entire humankind.
During one of my Contacts I asked my Teachers what they think about the phenomenon that on Earth we call Death. They answered that Death is no more than a transformation of some types of energy into others, which ensures the transition of Consciousness from one qualitative energetic level to another, higher energy-information level.
Ramasanta, a researcher doctor of the star ship Sirius-A, also defined Death in their World as some universal means for the transformation of vibrations of Matter of one level into vibrations of another level, onto which they ascend every three or four thousand Pleiadian years thanks to that «energy transformer».
The Truth of Death lies in the fact that before ascending to higher Worlds human Consciousness must undergo a certain evolutionary period, which permits a gradual manifestation in the human field capsule of all higher types of energy characteristic of the given sector of Creation.
Our dense coarse-material bodies are only a PREREQUISITE means in the long ascension of our Consciousness up the Stairs of human Evolution. Upon each shedding of the physical body, which we define and understand as «a physical Death», human Consciousness receives a new opportunity to increase the quality of its vibrations, and, thanks to the effect of resonance, to enter into an active interaction with the vibrations of more perfect Worlds of subtle or even spiritual manifestation.
The Earth Astral Plane and lower sub-planes of the Earth Mental Plane are the habitat of a huge number of etheric creatures, who are striving for a unique opportunity to be incarnated on the physical Plane, to attempt again to fulfill their Karma, which was developed during the earlier incarnations of the Soul not quite successful concerning their thinking quality. Because it is impossible to ascend to higher spheres without duly passing through an earth incarnation and without realization of Love, at the necessary spiritual level, as the main Divine Truth.
Everything happening on Earth is determined by Thoughts and feelings of the inhabitants of our planet. We, people, create our own material reality in accordance with the level of our Consciousness. Each instant we create a new collective reality. Our Thoughts, feelings and actions possess a much greater power than we could imagine.
Our coarse material World is created by our Thoughts, and it is an axiom. We believe that the real Life exists in Time. But we are mistaken, there is no and cannot be «really existing Life» in SUCH UNDERSTANDING. WHAT we understand by this reality is only a combination of different molecular structures that developed to the level of a material body.
The human Thought, which developed from the human Will is materialized into actions. The Will is the basis of the Thought, for it is the Will that makes the Thought ascend from Subconsciousness and can be compared in its strength only to the Will of the Soul to take a new incarnation.
It suffices for us to wish it strongly, and our insistent Thoughts based on our Will could change our entire surroundings.
And although we most frequently treat our Thoughts irresponsibly, we cannot help noticing: even our material world changes under the influence of our thinking so rapidly that we are not even able to imagine new opportunities opening up in front of us as a result of it. This occurs because the energy of our Will permits implementing the information which invisibly exists in our Time field.
Hence, if our own or collective Thought is our major «building material» even in our coarse-material world, then what can we say about the Subtle World to which the Soul passes upon its complete separation from the physical body, about the World in which Matter is energetically much subtler, incomparably more plastic and much more conscious than the physical one?
Although the Astral Plane is the major stage of postmortal existence of human Souls and is by far more heterogeneous than the material World around us, even there the Thoughts of creatures dwelling in the vibrations of its energies remain to be the major factor determining the quality and the level of their existence.
You should grow out of the habit to regard your present Life as a single one; you also need to stop thinking that your “Afterlife” will be an endless existence in the same state. You would not be able to endure the endless existence in the Subtle Matter of the inner World as you would not be able to live eternally in the same dense matter in which you are now enclosed.
You would soon feel tiredness, repletion and boredom, and you simply would not sustain it. While you are alive try to master the Idea of Rhythm. All creatures are subject to the Law of Rhythm, even Gods, although on a much more grandiose scale compared with us and with more lasting periods of floods and ebbs of Existence. Birth and Death are two repeated and incessantly interchanging manifestations of the eternal Existence of the human Soul. Everything that has the beginning must have its END.
Nothing in the Universe remains in an unchanged state. Cosmic Consciousness incarnates on Earth not for a quiet Life, but for acquisition of experience and mastering the unknown. In the incessant flow of the existence of human Soul there is and can be nothing with which it could identify itself.
One Zen master was asked if there can be happiness in this ever changing World full of hazards and unexpected events. After he sipped some water from a common clay cup the Master said, «For me, this cup is already broken, although it continues to serve me quite well: it holds water and milk, and I often admire the ancient pattern on it. But it can drop from the shelf any time. And only then shall I say: So it happened…
But while the cup is unbroken, every time that I can cherish the coolness and the taste of drinks is precious to me. The same is true of my body: it has actually been broken for me, it is dead, it is merely a question of time, but while the body exists, I can cherish every moment given to me by Life, and when time will come to part with it, I shall say: «So, it happened…».
Every moment of our Life is beautiful and invaluable, because it is as it is, there is nothing to add to it. And it would be silly to attach to a rose, beautiful as it is, tulip petals. If you are not able to understand the beauty of the rose, you will not understand it no matter how you would adorn it. Life is good only when we entirely and unconditionally open ourselves to every moment of it, without thinking whether it is good or bad, or whether it is profitable or unprofitable to us.
We died long ago. It is mere happiness that you can still enjoy Life and communicate with your relatives, friends and even enemies who by the way also died long ago. We all are simultaneously witnesses, observers, spectators and performers. What fears, doubts or negative emotions there can be? What priorities, attractions and preferences there can be? Every moment is eternity multiplied by its own uniqueness.
Every human being is infinity multiplied by individuality. Everything in this Life should be accepted and considered in its primordial form rather than after our perverted and dead-long-ago mind dresses it up in the clothes of its own illusions. We are not victims of Life, but rather happy owners of a unique and invaluable prize, whose name is Life. Life is the possibility of the Soul to make new acquisitions, accumulation and its final awakening.
What losses may there be? In Life there may be room only for Love and Truth. We invent ourselves all other things. Here, on Earth, we experience what can be regarded as objective Life, and we become increasingly subjective as our Consciousness approaches the Subtle World. By contrast the dwellers of the Afterworld become increasingly objective as the time comes for the Soul to incarnate for a new Life on Earth.
You need not change drastically the course of your Life upon having quickly assimilated the above. This should only be remembered. What you fail to do this year, you can do next year. But if you are in a hurry and toss about, you would not achieve much.
Eternity is quite a lasting period for the full development of human Spirit. It seems to be designed for this purpose. Actually, human beings never WASTE their time and gain experience from everything. Even all our errors are a valuable part of our experience.
The only sad aspect of Death is that average persons gain very little use from it for their true Self and for the future existence of their Soul, without thinking of the meaning of their earth existence and continuing to live, as if nothing had happened, on the level corresponding to their low-developed Consciousness.
Only the Confidence that the chain of Lives in the Existence of the Soul is virtually infinite can give us comfort. We all are links of the same great and continuous chain of One Life. No matter how small and insignificant the links might appear to us, they are all in their own places, which are inevitable for the moment, and this constantly moving chain is circling, which is the symbol of Eternity.
Let us remind once again that here, as in other cases, when we speak about dying and «the art of dying» we do not have in mind the withdrawal of the Soul of some very vile and particularly evil persons, who have prepared for themselves, to put it mildly, a specific postmortal fate, and do not go farther than the outermost level of the Outer Sphere of the Astral Plane, where they form a separate category of ugly and usually beast-like two-legged monsters.
Their way upward is long and hard, where they gradually get cleaned from the poisonous vibrations that overfilled them and begin assuming the human image. But that applies not nearly to everybody. The question of the postmortal existence of the Soul is also complicated, because it can be regarded by us only in relation to the spiritually developed part of humankind, and many of real people unfortunately are unable to distinguish a true person from a sham one, whose postmortal existence differs drastically from the after-Death Life of a true person.
The thing is that the subtle body of a non-human incarnated in the human form (See the book Humans and Non-humans) has such a small amount of energy substance even from the middle Astral levels, let alone the Mental Plane, that after death such a creature becomes totally unable to separate immediately from its physical body to create in the Supra-Planetary Space of Earth a single and integral astral and mental Entity.
After Death such an NON-HUMAN has to satiate with its Existents not the Astral Plane of the planet, but rather the bones of a deceased gradually dispersing for several months or even decades in the lowermost layer of the Outer Sphere of the Astral Plane. The dispersed Energies of such a creature cannot to revive again in the former combination with the preservation of features of the former human personality. Millions of daily dying non-humans have no personal existence after Death (as we understand it). They become disembodied ANTICS, representing a particular type and level of the animal form of existence.
The Elements and Existents constituting their subtle bodies after some time become material for the formation of biofields of new millions of low-organized non-humans, the so-called «STAMPS» or creatures who did not yet enter to the first step of Evolution of the Higher Intelligence, and actually representing astral animal entities, though relatively highly organized.
Hence, after Death such «a former human being» immediately loses his/her human image to assume the appearance of the animal whose qualities this particular Consciousness assimilates at the present stage of its development. Without sufficient force to form in the supra-planetary Space of Earth their astral essence and to be born again in the human form on the Physical Plane, such Consciousness creates its postmortal existence in the form of several animals of the same species, e.g., from 8 to 16 lynxes, pigs or raccoons; or up to 6-8 wolves; or from 40 to 60 rats or from 80 to 100 mice, etc.
No matter how small the biological energy potential of the non-human may be, it proves too small for a single animal whose energy composition is most suitable to the discarnated non-human. Hence, you should know that far from all the surrounding domestic and wild animals exist on the basis of their own biofield created by the Collective Animal Soul from the genes of the parents of a single animal species.
In particular, this applies to animals of the Felidae (cat) family as tigers, lions leopards and even cats, whose biofields are virtually always associated with one of the existing discarnated non-humans parasitizing on one or on several such biofields. As to such pets as dogs, some of them who were consciously raised by the master for the development of such properties as active spite, destructive instincts, etc., can also be used by the discarnated non-humans for feeding on the extraction of energy of fear vibrations from people.
If your dog is very friendly, gentle, full of love and faithful to you, that would mean that it is connected only to the Collective Consciousness of the World Dog, which is on a fairly high level of development permitting it to make an energy screen from the energy extraction by the discarnated non-humans. High vibrations can be hardly tolerated by astral creatures feeding on vile human feelings and emotions.
How do the discarnated non-humans make such a connection to the etheric or astral body of an animal? This normally occurs when the animal is 3 - 4 months of age (if the connection occurs to an animal of Felidae family) or in the case of the wolf, to a 6-week fetus. But there is no absolute quality connection of the Existents of the Consciousness of a dead non-human to the Existents of the Animal Collective Soul. Therefore, such an animal has to exist in the form of two loosely interconnected parts: a partial Consciousness of the animal and the Consciousness of the postmortally existing non-human.
In such cases animals reveal some qualities that are not specific to them: a clear presence of the reflective faculty expressed in unprecedented cunning, craftiness, quick understanding, sagacity, or even the sense of faithfulness as a basis of devotion. Many of the highly-developed domestic animals unconsciously use all the qualities for an astral connection to the human field structures and extraction of energy from their loving masters.
Let the phrase “extraction of energy” not scare you, since in such cases both parties receive the energy advantage from the connection — the human being and the pet he/she loves. The former gives love to the pet, activating his/her heart center that constantly generates this level of vibrations into the field capsule.
Some of these vibrations pass over to the animal, which together with them has to accept unconsciously from the master’s field capsule a considerable amount of vibrations carrying negative information. That is, in exchange for the love shown to it, the animal SEEMS to have to compensate for or extinguish some of the «bad» Karma of the master. That is why when the master falls ill, the pet also falls ill, and nobody knows whose suffering in each particular case is stronger.
Many people never give a thought to WHAT MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED TO THEM if they had not timely shown warm feelings and attention to their pet. Many people have been saved by the love, – at least to an animal, if not to a person (we do not imply numerous perverted forms of such an attachment), – from severe diseases, accidents and even Death. But many animals also have paid for the human love with their own Death, maims, and diseases.
I shall digress from our main subject for a moment to say that all virus diseases are astral in nature, including AIDS viruses. Thanks to the fact that some of domestic animals have a highly-developed astral body, they can serve as an excellent preventive against ANY VIRUS disease.
But such protection can only exist if not only you but also your pet — a cat or a dog — shows strong positive emotions towards you, which enables it to attract from the ambient environment vibrations that are energy carriers of an astral pathology, as if sucking them out from your field capsule. That is why my Teacher recommends all people to keep a cat or a dog in their homes as the best preventive means and to show your kindest feelings to them. Love will always be repaid thousandfold.
But let us get back to our subject. Only when the deceased non-humans connect to a horse, an elephant or a deer they are able to retain after Death 60-80% of the biological potential developed in their human Life and to try again to form the astral body powerful enough to be incorporated in a fertilized human ovum and to be born in the human form.
In all other cases, such a parasitic existence leads the Consciousness of the non-human, with every new its incarnation, to increasingly lower forms of manifested Life, gradually lowering even to the level of insects: flies, sand-flies, mosquitoes, and also cockroaches, spiders, tarantulas, scorpions, etc.
At this stage of evolutionary degradation, they create the constancy of their position in the World of Higher Intelligence, comprising its lower part. Gradually, the Existents of their Consciousness are disintegrated, and they naturally turn into elements representing the basis of the part of astral Matter, which serves for the formation and development of different forms of animal evolution on Earth.
As we have found our dense body, consisting of atomic-molecular substances of the physical Plane, is not only the most primitive and coarsest of all bodies, but also the least lasting. But Death is not necessarily associated with the short Life of the physical body, since it is based on the separation of the dense body and its etheric counterpart, which is, as was noted, the conductor of a Vital Principle — the Soul.
We have already mentioned (see the book Spirit and the Soul) that the most important constituent of the Soul is the so-called impulse ring, containing the entire information accumulated by the individual in all his/her reincarnations. For those who have not been able to familiarize themselves with our book Spirit and the Soul, we shall very briefly repeat the essence of our discourse, because this notion is extremely important.
So, the impulse ring is a peculiar «biological screen» of the Soul — you can imagine two energy vessels connected in the form of “a sand-glass”, whose lower ring “is fitted” on the human head a little lower than the crown.
The Spirit receives the nucleus of the impulse ring (Monad) from the Consciousnesses of the Higher Hierarchy of Cosmos residing on the Higher Energy Planes of Being, which are evolutionarily so high that cannot be incarnated in any of the three lower Planes. Upon the Death of human beings their positive experience is filtered into the Existents of the last incarnation, and the negative experience is filtered into their Karma (in principle, Karma is neither «bad» nor «good», neither «positive» nor «negative»; Karma is merely Karma — either there is Karma or there is not. But for an average human Consciousness we have to use such profoundly erroneous terms as «positive» or «negative» Karma).
The Higher Hierarchy bring into the Earth Astral Plane the information-energy capsule of human beings, which represents a hologram of their external image, and also Consciousness and the impulse ring. This retains immortality of an individual — after the biological Death of the person, an energy embryo remains, which continues its further evolution.
The impulse ring is the most important mechanism of the entire human body, like an energy replica of the brain, on the one hand providing all thinking processes in the brain, and on the other hand duplicating all the information that comes into the brain from outside to record it on its «floppy-disks» -- four constant Atoms of the four «mortal» bodies of the human being. The impulse ring is the basis of human intellect.
The Existents circulating around its nucleus along different orbits are filtered information-energy bunches of positive experience acquired by the individual in all his/her incarnations (the negative experience is fixed in the coccyx region). The Existents are located around the nucleus in hierarchic order like planetary orbits around the Sun.
All of them together — the nucleus, Existents and their energy connections represent the impulse rings, or, as it is occasionally referred to, «The Genius Field of Spirit». It is beyond the physical body, in the region of Sahasrara-Chakra. In the Christian tradition, the impulse ring of the Soul is depicted on icons of saints and Jesus Christ in the form of a golden nimbus above the head.
And this is quite justified, because it reflects the result of energy-information processes in the spiritual and psychic constituents of the human being as a biological thinking system. Any clairvoyant, by the quality of vibrations (color) of the impulse ring, by the direction and rate of its rotations can judge about the spiritual level of human development and his/her karmic tasks of evolutionary perfection.
The entire biological mass of the human being is needed for the energy service of the impulse ring. In the Earth conditions, the Intelligence is capable of forming Consciousness only with the human biological body. During their entire Life on Earth, human beings progress spiritually, or, vice versa, degrading they set a certain level of vibrations for the energies of their subtle bodies, which is manifested in the direction and rate of rotation of aural energy zones of the psychic centers (chakras), due to which a program of individual human evolution or involution is formed, which is constantly projected on the impulse ring.
The biofield formed by the body serves the coarse human nature as an energy bridge to subtle Energies of the Spirit. Consciousness is a sort of Energy Plane created by all the human bodies. The brain and the nervous system are the main parts of Consciousness. The blood is structured by the information available in Consciousness and by the essence of human Karma. The blood can also transport the Energy of Subtle Planes; and the nerves are only wires. The Brain can be compared to the computer, where information processed in the impulse ring becomes a realized Thought.
In the impulse ring, the thoughts are spherical, they are more elevated and more complicated than planar Thoughts and are produced by all the Existents.
The Lower-Plane planar Thoughts, which are manifested in the lower bodies of human beings, get only to the lower Plane of the impulse ring making its potential weaker, and if human beings get used to thinking only on the animal, consumer level, their elevated Existents may be lost.
In this case a Hierarch of the energy Plane of Earth (the Guide) takes the responsibility to connect Existents lost by someone to the impulse ring of another individual, who is developing more successfully in a given earth incarnation. Thus, the Consciousness, which degraded in the course of numerous incarnations, loses its individuality to become a part of the Collective Consciousness of the Animal Kingdom of Earth.
All the emanations of the body transformed into the Soul are also manifested in the impulse ring. Even microfields emanated by bacteria and viruses in the physical body, to say nothing of the emanations of hairs or nails, individual organs or systems — absolutely everything is fixed and reflected on this biological screen of the Soul.
Depending on the quality of these emanations, the impulse ring checks with the human genetic code to take particular measures in order to bring all the body systems into a balanced state. When the current state is not in conformity with the state «prescribed» by the genetic code, the impulse ring tunes to a needed decision to send to certain parts of the brain energy pulses in the form of a ready-made solution of the problem to activate respective organs and systems.
The impulse ring retains not only the most complete encoded information about a given individual in particular, but also about the development of the entire humankind in general. It also accumulates and encodes all external information to distribute it through different parts of the brain.
It is the impulse ring that enables us to trace back some events that ever occurred to us in any one of our incarnations, and also to move along the time axis -- either to “the past” or to “the future”. The same could be done to the biological screen of any other person by tuning to his/her individual time axis.
The impulse ring is also the most important mechanism of our interaction with the environment and the Cosmos, being the basis of human intuition and orientation in any energy-information flows, which «envelope» us constantly and everywhere, even at night when we are asleep.
In the state of a shock and loss of Consciousness, the impulse ring starts setting all the subtle bodies either in a pulsating condition, or compresses or dilates them, or turns them into a needle, depending on the decision taken by the biological screen. And when Death comes, the impulse ring re-encodes the Soul for the existence independently from the physical body, triggering the mechanisms responsible for the fulfillment of all the functions of the subtle bodies.
After an apparent Death, the Soul as if focuses only on itself and, having saved the information it has, becomes insusceptible to the reception of new information. The free radicals existing in it «during Life» in large numbers (over 200) to overlay the incoming information lose their capacity to perceive Energy and are as if «erased» after Death. If someone tries to enter some additional information into the Soul in a postmortal state having disturbed and disconnected its internal energy links, he/she would destroy this Soul.
This very quality of the human Soul provides some guarantees that all the 25 main civilizations of the Cosmos, who watch us with a keen interest and monitor the Evolution of humankind are more interested in the continuation of people’s existence, since otherwise all their hopes for the synthesis of similar-quality energy-information formations would fail in them.
In order not to disintegrate the impulse ring by powerful Energies of the Higher Planes, and also not to cause strong sufferings to an impure Soul when the astral body contacts with these Energies, the Soul Guide, depending on its energy potential, leaves it successively in this or that layer of the Earth Astral Plane to prepare it for the new stage of change in Consciousness and ascension to higher levels of vibrations of astral Matter.
The impulse ring of every individual develops information, which goes to the Chalice of Common Consciousness of the World and Antiworld, identified as the Ring of Great Luminescence by the Cosmos civilizations. This Ring is also an energy barrier to delimit the Worlds and Antiworlds developing together. It can be compared to a huge living cell that multiplies by dividing into two daughter cells. The visible Galaxies, Stars, planets are the Physical Plane of the Ring.
Every Transition from Life to Death is difficult in its own way. It is difficult at least because it is necessarily associated with the need to overcome some obligatory formalities, problems or unusual circumstances, either internal or external, which the dying have to undergo anyhow.
Even for those for whom the first Transition Stage – the exit from the physical body -- was easy and inconspicuous, for instance, those killed in a war, in a fight or on some responsible mission, when they imagine for some time that they continue living and acting in the Physical World, once comes the time of realization of the fact of their Death and the associated need for overcoming various spiritual obstacles.
Actually, at the moment of Death occurs nothing but the Birth in the Subtle World, similar to the birth of a child on the Physical Plane. It is known that some people are born quickly and easily, other people have some complications and the birth of some others require a Caesarean operation. The same occurs after Death, only the Planes of Being and the levels of Consciousness manifestation change.
We can quite responsibly claim that every just discarnated Soul of a person of average development -- whether he/she died a natural or violent Death, whether it was a suicide or an accident, healthy or mentally sick, young or old, bad or good -- temporarily loses ANY memory at the moment of Death, i.e. it is KIND OF MENTALLY DESTROYED temporarily.
Death occasionally shatters the Consciousness of the deceased that can temporarily weaken their memory. In such cases the complete temporary unconsciousness is followed by the period of a twilight state of Consciousness which also gradually passes. It takes some time for the Soul to finally “recover itself” from the initial shock.
Only by the end of such «a period of ripening in anabiosis» the memory gradually and slowly, having discarded all the earthly and coarse, starts returning to the Consciousness of the deceased. For each Soul, this condition may last several earth «seconds», «hours», «days», «weeks», «months», and, occasionally, up to several «years», depending on the development level of Consciousness of the deceased, their mental condition at the time of Death, the nature of Death, their interests during Life, etc.
Generally, this uncertain condition is characteristic of the Souls of people who, during their Life, positively rejected even the least possibility of their postmortal existence. The Soul exits from this state after Death very gradually and slowly with the help of specialists of the Astral World.
According to our numerous astral observations, the overwhelming majority of dying people, who lived a normal and good Life, may experience a temporary complete lapse of the memory accompanying the first moments of the Transition, which quickly disappears, or it may be absolutely absent. Instead of the lapse, gradually and in different visual variations and interpretations, appears the Living Bright Light, as if consisting of millions of tiny diamonds shining with all colors of the rainbow and tightly pressed against one another in constant motion.
This Light undoubtedly reveals a highly-developed spiritual Entity emanating vibrations that only positively affect the Consciousness of the deceased filling all the space with the emanations of Divine Love, Mercy and Trust in Everything. Some minor features of appearance or details of the «garments» of the Light Entity cannot immediately be distinguished, for this is prevented by a constant inner shining of golden and silver sparks like a joyful play of millions of plashes of sunlight within a form reminiscent of a human silhouette.
In some cases, due to a less sublime state of the Soul at the moment of Death, an impression may be received, that a deceased person is crossing a big river alone, and, on the other bank, enters a lavish sun-lit landscape: an open forest meadow with emerald grass; a beautiful valley with wonderful orchards and singing birds; a wonderful lake with white lilies and dreamlike swans, etc.
While alive you should get ready to such metamorphoses of your Consciousness. Presumably, when you wake up, you will see some magnificent gates leading «to Heaven», as you may think. Whatever happens to you afterwards, would seem to happen on its own, without direct participation of your Will, kind of ideally and contemplatively.
Such a diversity of states is determined by the fact that every Soul is primarily an INDIVIDUALITY, no matter what direct impression on others it may produce in the course of its earth incarnation.
But we emphasize again that no matter how events gratifying the Soul would develop, each of the deceased first of all will start seeing a silver human silhouette in his/her close vicinity. The silhouette appears to develop from a transparent golden mist or a Pure Bright Light. As soon as It appears, it starts attracting his/her attention to Itself like a metal to a magnet, increasingly merging the Consciousness of the deceased with Itself overfilling it with Love and Understanding -- the feelings that comprise the whole primary meaning of Existence.
Looking at this luminous spiritual Entity, the deceased, no matter how unjust their past Life might be, normally experience absolute certainty that nobody can love them and sympathize with them more than the Entity. Although this Light Entity cannot be regarded in relation to sex, but from the moment of Its appearance any deceased person, whether it be man or woman, feels unconditioned affinity to It and the desire of absolute unity with it.
This unexplainable feeling of uncontained union with Light begins to increase in the Soul, and nothing greater can match it. Being dissolved in the finest emanations of this Eternal Light, the Soul itself begins to become subtler, to lose its former density, and this energy transformation brings to the deceased the sensation of a great relief, spiritual lightness and wonderful unearthly peace.
During the initial stages of the Transition the majority of deceased experience the so-called tunnel effect. They begin seeing and perceiving a rotating mist-like vortex of energy like a whirlwind or tornado, which quickly approaches as if covering the deceased and then absorbs them drawing inside.
The Soul enters this coal-black tunnel, negotiates it in different ways and with different sensations and only after that it unexpectedly appears in a shining country at the other bright-lit end of the tunnel. But we emphasize that the process when the Soul overcomes the resistance of Matter and subconscious striving of the deceased to their quickest liberation both indicating the beginning of the Transition take place differently for each person, with numerous individual differences depending on many internal, physic and spiritual reasons.
There are different types of the Transition through the tunnel: the one whose Consciousness willingly abandons the dense body will glide down the tunnel easily and rapidly, without feeling anything but Light approaching from afar, while other people literally need to be «driven» by force out of the Physical Plane. This explains why one Soul needs much time to wake up, while another one engages immediately in the active creative Life of the Subtle World with Joy and Love.
Some dying persons merely see a dark narrow pipe with shining Light at the end and fly easily in it, without noticing anything, not feeling any obstacles and not hearing any unpleasant rumble. They are those who really managed to prepare themselves physiologically for the Transition and whose Soul abandons its physical body and this material world gladly and without regret.
Upon observance of certain obligatory «formalities» of their postmortal Transition regarding the self-assessment of their Life, and having passed into the category of «definitively deceased», they immediately begin perceiving consciously and joyfully their new spiritual environment. Their earth Life recedes for them to the background very quickly, because creative «week-days» of their new Life exceed their most daring and optimistic expectations.
By contrast, other people seem “to swim” slowly and steadily down a very long dark passage with deep longitudinal furrows on the walls, hearing some ambient noises, fragments of music, separate sounds of rumble, chimes of bells, hum, grinding etc. It seems to them that this narrow passage connects «this» and «that» sides of Existence.
Occasionally, in its black endless furrows, invisible windows suddenly open on their own and distract the deceased for some time showing numerous and absolutely «real» pictures, which embody their most cherished Life dreams and unrealized desires or secret fantasies, which they thoroughly concealed from others.
These sensations are characteristic of those dying whose Souls leave very reluctantly the earthly World so familiar and dear to their heart. That is why the Archons of Destiny have to gradually pull their Consciousness into the Afterworld, trying as much as possible not to traumatize psychically their Consciousness and not to force it. Hence, such deceased need much time to wake up from the dream of earthly illusions.
But both categories of the deceased are well aware that they have to cover this path in order to get to «the other side» to their true Consciousness and join the experience of their last incarnation with the entire experience of their previous Existence to realize the Truth where they actually erred and where each of them simply had to act in conformity with their mission.
At this stage the Soul continues to be tightly connected to its Spirit, it is seized by the irrevocable desire to go farther in its spiritual development. Only when the Soul reaches higher steps of perception in the Subtle World, when it receives its spiritual Initiation and acquires independence in its further existence, only then it will be able to separate from the Spirit in a similar way as it once separated from its physical body-conductor.
None of the deceased is “cast loose” or unnoticed, for every human Soul (also many non-humans die) receives assistance, care and support. Those who loved you, your relatives and friends, and died earlier meet you «there». Those without such friends and relatives are met by friendly assistants charged with the task to guide confused newcomers in their new Life.
On the very boundary (although, of course, no boundaries actually exist, because everything is vibrations of different types of Energy!) of our three-dimensional World and «the Afterworlds», the recently deceased encounter with the spiritual entities that helped them in the course of their Life and will help them after their Death to pass some part of their postmortal Transition. The task of each of these entities is to guide their person under care through «childhood» to a more elevated understanding.
It fulfils its task only at the moment when a certain qualitative openning of Consciousness is achieved. Only after one type of astral energy is so transformed that it becomes quite different, of higher quality, purer, the assistant is replaced by another spiritual Instructor to guide the deceased to more elevated spiritual heights.
By the way we should note that the same happens in Life: every Soul brings in its earth incarnation its spiritual Entity, which cannot be reduced to the level of a certain «person», even if it has a spiritual Name. With the increase on knowledge of an earthly personality, when all its thinking and outlook pass to another circle of vibrations, its Guardian Angel is also replaced by a higher form of intelligent Energy.
Every person has a spiritual guide, who voluntarily, out of Love, took upon himself the task of preventing the person under his care from falling into the abyss of Life, when the latter believes that his path was wrong or when he is in despair.
And there are some people whose spiritual missionary incarnations require a constant relationship with several Guardian Angels helped by a multitude of their assistants. You should not mix up your subtle-material good Genius or a discarnated Teacher with your own Higher Self.
Thus, we have seen, that the first and major obstacle for the Soul during the Transition period is unconsciousness of different degrees and deepness: from a light obnubilation of Consciousness, a short dismay or half-consciousness to a complete and lasting unconsciousness.
Death, if regarded not only as a leaving of Life from the dense body, is the state determined and caused by the lived earth Life. The Soul does not enter this state headlong, but submerges into it gradually with frequent stops. With the first gleams of this realized state the dying see all their past Life (rather the Soul in its sleep AS IF lives it again), from the first conscious day to the last one.
From the reanimated past nothing will remain beyond what the person felt SPIRITUALLY, what was caused by his/her SPIRITUAL capacities, what developed thanks to them and was experienced by them — whether it was true Love or true Hatred. In other words, after Death the Soul retains for some time, — in conformity with the qualities of its earth Life, — complete recollection only of the SPIRITUAL part of its stay on the Physical Plane of Earth.
The rest, — particular and minor, — which failed to affect the Soul and cause any noticeable vibrations of a true feeling, — be it Kindness or Hatred, — is quickly dissolved after Death in respective Spheres of the Astral Plane to be obliterated from the memory of the deceased as used materials. Normally, this process is accompanied by fairly unpleasant and painful sensations affecting the Consciousness of the deceased.
The profound meaning of the process of dying or the gradual Transition actually is that human beings must walk, with the earth knowledge acquired during Life, the entire way of their postmortal Transition to identify their TRUE Self among multilayer depositions of astral and mental “parings”. That is, to become finally wiser by recognizing their spiritual Essence, by knowing the Love of ALL THAT EXIST towards everybody including the deceased. Only after all that their transition can be successfully completed, and their Consciousness will enter into an active phase of its further development.
The one, who even does not have a full understanding, but at least intuitively guesses the true meanings of our messages, our books, will be able to clear up one’s postmortal path successfully and well in advance while still alive and to come to the knowing of Truth and Love with less suffering and spiritual losses.
What is the true meaning of the «art of dying» which we try to teach you, dear reader? First of all it is in learning to retain a high level of your Consciousness in the course of your Transition and do incessant high spiritual endeavors not to let lower energies pull your Consciousness to vibration levels of low-quality astral flows.
What happens in that case? A high spiritual tension developed by aspiration for Light instantaneously burns up coarse-energy karmic cords, and the capsule of the Soul of the deceased is transformed into a needle-like formation that allows to pierce very easily the plastic Matter of the lower layers of the Astral Plane and to reach quicker the highest level of vibrations typical for a particular Consciousness.
It is exactly during the first moments and even hours after Death a highly-developed person, who is not much burdened with coarse vibrations of the Matter of feelings, can leave for the Better World on the Ray of Knowledge unless the Matter of feelings itself wins over Reason, and the Soul, having yielded to sophisticated Astral temptations falls down to the abyss of the subconscious. The chaos in the head makes the Soul to thrash about in search of an information key.
The chance of finding the «window» blindly, without due preparation of Consciousness when the person is still alive, is negligible. It is not sufficient to meditate once or twice to learn the nature of one’s Consciousness; one should practice again and again to understand it as clearly as not to become distracted when encountering various experiences even in sleep.
It should be understood that those things which we deem constant are actually not. Deceived by your rigid focus on the solid «reality» you waste your whole Life on a constant senseless pursuit of pointless objectives, if you think that it is enough only to read our books and remember how you should act at a particular moment of dying to avoid troubles and, having got away with only a slight fright, be able to reach the Worlds of the Mental Plane using only minimum Energy. To think so is most silly and primitive.
Don’t we delude ourselves when we are asleep and see dreams? When in a dream we «experience» various pleasant and unpleasant “events”, we either accept or reject them, feeling either fear or happiness. In our dreams we cannot remember even basic things associated with our true nature to consciously and adequately respond to what is happening to us. If in our dream we are fully ridden by delusions, what can be said of such greatest Illusion as Death?
In order to substantially facilitate your Transition into the Subtle World, we advise you to concentrate during dying with all the might of your Soul on what is of actual value in Life, aiming the work of your Consciousness not at the solution of earthly cares and problems but rather exclusively at the movement to the Higher Worlds, Planes and Sphere, God and Light. Try to get ready at least a little for the moment when your Life on Earth will suddenly come to an end. For Death can reach you any time.
When it comes close, be ready to throw away from your Consciousness a all your earthly attachments to your next of kin, to your accumulated possessions and to your unfinished business. In fact, after Death the Soul is shackled most of all not by external appearances and circumstances, which are only consequences of inner state of the Soul, but by its own attachments to what it left on Earth and by strong negative feelings which possess it.
Of course it does not mean that you immediately should stop loving all whom you loved, besides, you cannot do that even if you wanted to. But you must be able to cut off all the bonds of attachment to the earthly existence and not to cling to anything associated with Earth in your premortal Thoughts.
Love is real when it is primarily merciful kindness and wisdom not stifled by attachments. The memory of earth Life, subsequently returned to you, will revive in your recollections all the good and bad what you accumulated in yourself, but by the time of Death, as few earthly recollections as possible should burden your Consciousness.
The most common things may be the objects of attachment making the Transition difficult, including a suit or a ball pen, but the main reasons that bring about thousands of obstacles are attachments to your own body, your Life, relatives and friends, home, comfort, money, business and even to your church, icons, statues, prayer book, etc. But, please, believe our experience — nothing in Life is worthy of Death. Hence, it will be better if this most important moment of your Life passes not in an unconscious state but quite consciously.
Let nothing uncompleted engage your Thoughts at the last moment of your Life. At the moment of Death the state of your Mind or the dominant Thought may become very intensive — by far stronger than usual and you should take it into account in advance and prepare yourself thoroughly for it. We can advise you: before you go to the «the beyond», choose a certain highly-spiritual symbol or an image dear to your Heart and try to keep it in your mind as long as possible.
We are confident that even that simple technique will make it possible, using only your imagination, to heighten substantially your vibrations before the Transition and quite easily reach that level of the Subtle World where the vibrations of this symbol are dominant. The image on which you will focus your attention before your Death will be at the same time the most reliable guide (because it will come to Life and will lead you through a multitude of minor distracting moments) and your entrance ticket to the World of its vibrations.
In the course of the Transition, imagination assumes a great power. No matter what picture you might draw in your mind, the vibrations of your astrosom will immediately start tuning themselves in resonance with the image, and if your Will sends a slightest pulse to fulfill the desired, the Astral Matter will immediately turn the image into reality.
Every deceased brings, into his/her postmortal Being, recollections of his/her past and desires overfilling him/her in during earth Life. There is no getting away from that. Sooner or later your Thoughts, your deeds will reach you, and you alone will have to bear all the responsibility for everything you generated. The dominant Thoughts in the course of your dying will determine your state, your appearance and your surrounding after the Transition.
In the course of Life, we can be distracted from the feeling of anger, envy or offence due to a number of sensory impressions. But you know that an insane can be completely absorbed in a single Thought, desire or emotion (phobias), which grow inside to incredible dimensions. The same may happen at the moment of your Death. That is why it is very important to learn to purify your Consciousness, during mediation, from all discomforting vibrations causing remorse or a negative reaction.
It should be noted that Death is easy and simple only very rarely, when some truly kind people die who lived an altruistic Life. In most cases, this is not a very pleasant period in the Soul Existence, at any rate until it is fully adapted to the new conditions of Life in the Subtle World.
For some time after separation of the etheric and other bodies from the physical one, the field capsule still continues to be bound to the body by an energy cord, reminding an umbilical cord of a newly born. The more spiritually developed is the Soul by the time of its Transition, the finer is the cord.
When an objective person is dying, he/she becomes invisible to the physical vision, although the person is still in his/her etheric body. When people will develop their etheric vision, the concept of Death will change drastically, and there will be no need to convince anybody of the things we are trying to convince you.
The Soul needs a physical body only for its activity in the material World, but not for Life in general. In its eternal Existence, the Soul can do without what we refer to as «the body». I am sometimes asked if the body can live without the Soul. The answer is yes, but for a very brief time.
When dying, the Soul leaves the body before the body’s Death. Upon its exit, the Body becomes motionless and loses all vital signs, but occasionally the Soul for some reason returns to the abandoned body to revive it and to restore the vital functions of the organism. Therefore, in the temporary absence of the Soul the body may retain for some time the potential capacity to live.
In these cases the body may represent an aggregate of Consciousnesses of all its cells from the skin to Collective Consciousnesses of all the organs and systems. After Death these Consciousnesses do not immediately stop their activity but continue their autonomous existence for several days or even weeks till their complete decomposition.
Thus, we can speak in terms of the Consciousness of a corpse which by no means can be identified with the personality’s Consciousness that left the body, likewise the latter cannot be identified with the Super-consciousness of the Spirit. When the physical body disintegrates after Death, the energy substance of water is first removed from it.
Gradually, the body turns first into dust and then in many billions of individual molecules, each of which having a partial Consciousness necessary to fulfill its task in the human body. Thus, these minute particles of Matter disintegrate again and become pure energy which carries some definite information. And information is a partial Consciousness which is a component of the human Existence.
As has been mentioned, Death is not a moment, but a process of transition taking some time, and before a certain transition stage the Soul sometimes may return to the body to continue its Life on Earth. But of course the reunion of the Soul with the body is not nearly always possible. The Soul can only dwell in the body which is capable of functioning. After destruction of some vital organ, a normal physical Life of the Soul is no longer possible.
In the course of the brief separate existence of the body and the Soul, it is exactly the Soul rather than the body that lives in contact with the environment. If the Soul and the body during that time lived in different places, a person returned to Life remembers the situation in which his/her Soul was and describes the events which occurred to it rather than to the body. During the time, the Collective Consciousness of his/her physical body did not «see», did not «hear» and did not «perceive», being fully absorbed only in the internal chemical and physiological processes in it.
The Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles describe several cases of raising people from the dead by Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead on the third day after Death, when the body decay had already started. The history of the last millennium is also rich in similar cases, which modern medicine merely ignores, incapable to explain them and stating that «it can never be».
In the course of «dying» the Soul of a common person, unprepared for a conscious Transition to the Subtle World, does not «fly away» immediately. Different religious traditions insist on forty or forty nine days, during which the semi-conscious Soul seems to be looking for a «window» to its better World (we insist that this adaptation period for each unprepared Soul is strictly individual and may be much shorter — from a moment to several hours, or much longer — months and even years).
This so-called «window» or exit is in Consciousness of human beings, and while the brain is not yet disintegrated completely, the Soul still has a chance of leaving this «vale of misery». Of course, this does not refer to extremely evil persons, who out of spite and hatred killed many other people — they go directly to the lowest levels of the Astral Sphere, which is traditionally referred to as the Bottomless Pit or Hell.
Normally, «a typical average» Soul during these seven conventional earth weeks as if dies anew every seven days, each time losing Consciousness and transitiong to a higher level of realization. When the deceased recover Consciousness, they find themselves in a new, more comfortable and more attractive World.
With such a passage through numerous stages and regions of the Outer Astral Sphere, the Soul, due to its experiences and distress, increasingly cleans its field capsule from destructive vibrations and gradually gains an increasingly attractive human shape. In fact, the appearance in the Subtle World is in full conformity with the state of the Soul.
The Soul of an ordinary unprepared person cannot identify itself in the experiences occurring during the moment of Death. Again and again it will reveal its old customary tendencies that would lead Consciousness to the patterns of conception thinking, and thus returning the Soul of the deceased to the state of conditioned existence.
For such persons all the surrounding conditions that appear one by one before their Soul in the postmortal World will be very similar to those on Earth. Finding themselves there for the first time, for some time the deceased may not be aware that they are dead and think that they woke up after a deep sleep. For some time they will not even see a considerable difference between the World they left and the World they entered.
The deceased who, for some reason, are strongly attached to Earth and thus constantly feeding their etheric body, for some time may continue in the boundary areas of the Outer Astral Sphere and even observe material objects. In case it is uncontrolled, the sexual desire may become the most awful of all the obsessive phobias.
To be entirely enslaved by your own rude emotional experiences means to be in the Hell that you create for yourself. But the one who is in this state is not aware of this situation, deplorable from the point of view of spiritual development: he merely gives away from his astral body to the outer environment vibrations of exactly the same quality which constitutes the basis of an ambient astral Matter.
In some degree the dying may be helped by the Jesus Prayer or even any other prayer they remember and which may distract them from the obsession. In the Soul there should sound a decisive rejection of all the earthly and the most powerful aspiration to the Higher Spheres, and they should fling themselves upon the Mercy of God.
But again you need to keep in mind that when still alive the human Consciousness should ALREADY be prepared for it by the altruistic mode of thinking and also by respective moral and spiritual aspirations.
Only then, when it gains full freedom, the Soul may quickly reach the level of the Astral Sphere with predominant vibrations of similar quality, becoming free, on its way, from coarser vibrations of the body of desires and thus escaping the external levels of the Sphere, traditionally called in Christianity as «limbo» or «purgatory»
The necessity for the Soul to stay in these Spheres primarily depends on the easiness of its liberation from the Energies present in the astral body of its field capsule that must return to the levels of the Astral Plane of corresponding quality. The vibrations of these Energies are manifested in the Soul of the deceased as numerous feelings, attachments, attractions, desires, fantasies, phobias, etc.
These parting words should not be read from the book, repeating word for word. It should be used as a basis for a profound internal, more precisely, spiritual, cordial communication with a person dear to you, lying on his/her deathbed and with each minute retiring from you farther and farther; when you not only want to help him/her with all your heart, but you are ready to be yourself in his/her place, if it only could soothe sufferings.
This form of communication is very close to Meditation when the entire text is first closely realized by the Mind, and then, by the Heart, and only upon being accepted by the Heart the meaning of what you have read becomes a part of you, as the part of what you have lived with up to now not being able to put it into words. A confident conversation with a dying person or the one in a coma or already dead should proceed in Love and independently of time, not using your mind but as if by means of a spiritual talk between two Hearts «on both sides» of Death, which separates them just notionally. Such a talk «through the Heart» is so efficient that no other method of such communication could be compared to it in power.
You must also remember that the words which are so difficult to choose for such «unilateral» communication are of no consequence. The important thing for you is to manifest as deep as possible your endless love for and sincere care of the person in this somewhat unusual state to help him to be what he/she should be.
You should talk less but try to FEEL as much and deeply as possible the state of Consciousness the other person even of he/she traditionally is deemed to be «dead». Send your Love to your beloved one rather than your desire and your picture of what he/she should be like in your opinion.
If you want to implant in his/her mind the Thought that he/she should not focus on his/her own fear and finally stop to deny his/her Death, first of all you must ENTER yourself into this state of «absolute absence of the fear of Death», you must first SENSE these vibrations IN YOURSELF so that you could impart to the deceased a similar state of Mind not with words but with your own positive emotions and inner elevated state.
And another important thing. When your are «talking» through the Heart with a person, who committed a suicide, the best thing is to focus your attention on forgiveness. All the time you should send sincere compassion to the person you love, whose thoughtless choice brought him to the other side of Life, so that he would not grieve from annoyance and the feeling of guilt for the suffering that he may have brought you by his Life and, to an even greater degree, by his Death.
You should forgive him to set him free from dying many times again and again, even after his physical Death, removing the feelings of guilt, hopelessness and depression from his astrosom. When you forgive a suicide, you should also forgive yourself for the unawareness of your own responsibility for the actions of other people, for your ignorance, which led you to constant condemnation of the deceased or giving rise to your doubts about the correctness of his deeds.
If you want to help a dead suicide to become open for a new Life in the World for him, you should primarily try to realize the level of similar despair in yourself. Forgiveness of yourself and of the deceased would permit your Heart go beyond the feeling of your own guilt before the deceased and will soothe your unbearable remorse. Let yourself go and open yourself to the flow of your heartache to stop reviving again and again in yourself the moments of suffering associated with the suicide of the person you love.
My encounters at the lowest levels of the Astral Plane with suicides who abandoned Life voluntarily and my communication with them made me change drastically my opinion of them as sinful and degraded people. I have discovered that many of these miserable people died only because nobody needed their love or it was so great that it could never be complete.
Many were just not prepared enough for the fulfillment of tasks of their incarnation and were helpless in the face of uncontrolled events occurring in their Life. Some persons voluntarily abandoned Life only because they wanted to soothe the sufferings of the people who are dear to them. They sacrificed their physical body for the happiness and welfare of these people without letting their heartache to develop into the desire to serve others in order to reduce their sufferings. How can one despise them for it?
During their Life, many of the suicides did not receive emotions they wanted, which only shows that they were not indifferent people and killed themselves only due to the lack of strength to sustain their inner suffering or due to unsatisfied desires and excessive attachments. Some of them by the time of the suicide just gave up all their hope based initially on some kind of fear or a delicate desire.
Only freedom from fear enables one to live “here and now”, without relying on hope, but not all people are evolutionarily ready for that. The motto on the arch at the entrance to the Dante’s Hell says: “Abandon hope all ye who enter here”. I have seen that arch among many other archetypes of the Astral Plane.
This motto is far from a horrible curse to scare the miserable people who found themselves in those places due to their hasty decisions in the course of their Life. These words are the major parting words to the deceased, the God’s blessing, which reminds everybody who appears there, that any attachment to his/her future opportunities automatically creates for him/her a painful impossibility to merge with his/her present.
The Hope for a better future will make the deceased kill themselves again and again until it vanishes completely depleted, thus making the deceased begin living anew so fully as to learn to take the only right solution for each moment. The mischief of many self-murderers is that, at the critical moment of their Life, they failed to find the opportunity somehow to let go distress of their Soul and to become open to their inner pain and thus to live through it, or for some reason they did not want to take advantage of this opportunity.
The problem is that our egoism and our own fear of suffering never let us realize the unbearable anguish in their Mind, which gradually, little by little corroding the Soul, led them to the fatal Thought to go to their account at one bout. You may not give up your love for the deceased only on the ground that they committed an act that is not in conformity with your views.
The deceased and you should not have any difference in perception of the outer World, and you should reject everything in your passionate desire of spiritual communication with a dying (or just deceased) person, striving to be near him/her as soon as possible and accept shoulder to shoulder absolutely everything in his/her postmortal fate.
But as compared with his/her situation, yours is more advantageous because you are not in confusion, not bound by the agony of Life abandoning the body and not enveloped by the fear of Death. In addition, you are armed with knowledge that is no longer accessible to the deceased person. You are all his/her hope, if he/she has not yet realized his/her salvation in God and Love.
There is no need to make communication of this kind in the presence of the body of the deceased or dying — on the Astral Plane there are no obstacles of the physical plane. Even if you are in another city, at the other end of Earth, the quality of your communication with the deceased will the same as if they were near your. Only your psychic contact is of importance and the desire of your Soul to be near your dear person and to be helpful to him/her. It is important to be able to overcome the sudden grief of the loss and be able to concentrate on your Love of the deceased.
Let nothing and nobody distract you. Shade the room, light a candle and place near it the photo of the person with whom you wish to communicate. It is very good if you light a lamp near the icon, fire incense, and say at least the prayers which we give at the end of the Soul section. This will help you to remove unnecessary Thoughts from your Mind, clean the Heart from vanity and focus on Death. You may imagine that the deceased is sitting near you in an armchair and drinking a cup of coffee that you hospitably prepared. In order to get in contact you should primarily open yourself to accept the Subtle World inside.
If the deceased person is visualized, which is quite possible in case of psychic affinity and there is nothing extra-ordinary in it, you should not be afraid (you should fear the living rather than the dead), but on the contrary you should be glad that your words and Thoughts immediately found the addressee and he/she put aside everything to hear you. In this case, simply continue to talk with him/her about what you have read in our books.
God help you in that!
Imagine that in your physical body there remained neither strength nor energy to sustain its link with the Source of Life, your Soul, which has already prepared to set out on its path. Also imagine that you start dissolving beyond the boundaries of your body.
This will be not difficult, because this is exactly what is happening to you, but you should not resist it and do not cling to Life. I am with you in spirit and, hence, don’t be afraid of anything, my dear. Now what belongs to this world begins returning to the source from where it came to you. And, you, your Consciousness, the Soul only for a while lent this physical body and now, when time has come for the Soul to return Home, the body should be returned back in the form of energies.
First, the energy which the Element of Earth gave you will begin to melt gradually. Listen to this process, it is beautiful and unique. When you are alive you can never experience such a sensation, therefore, take advantage of this, enjoy yourself and watch closely what will happen to your Consciousness every other moment! Fear nothing and experiment with it!
Do you feel the sensation of solidity leaving somewhere and everything assumes fluidity and fragility? This is the element of water which gradually takes up and melts its type of energy, smoothing and expanding the edge of the forms and the horizon of this world. The water element is dissolved to turn into the fire element. You cannot fully perceive your physical body, and so let it be! Don’t think of it, don’t cling to it, because you virtually have no body. Instead of it you begin to clothe yourself in a more beautiful subtle-material body.
The body sensations are no longer distinguished by you, they melt, and instead of them your reach a greater space. It means that you are dissolving beyond the boundaries of your body. Leave your old clothes without regret, and pass into Self-Consciousness.
How can it be done? You should merely open yourself with joy to the expanding Space and try to become Consciousness, hovering in that Space, become it. Do you understand? Try to do it. This is easy, because you are virtually dead.
Realize this, and let go easily and without regret everything what still holds you in this World without letting you get in touch by your entire Soul with the beauty of this invaluable and inimitable moment. This very Transition is called Death.
Look around and see for yourself that there is nothing dangerous in that, nothing that used to scare you so much before. The Death is pleasant, open yourself to it, enter it and it will quickly take you to your true Home, in which your Soul, that is you, was born.
For here you were only a guest like all of us. But you, my dear, must remember the saying: «There is no place like home». Go home and God go with you!». Observe how all the past experiences of your Mind change when you are separating from your body and are dissolved in the purity of a Bright Light.
Now this Light is you yourself — you are lighting with this Light, this is the Lord shining is each of us, only we do not notice it through the veil of our physical bodies. Now you have left your physical body and can admire the shining of your true Divine Nature!
And not only admire, but also enter it! Yes, my dear, this Light is the very clothes that you must put on now. Realize it and do not be afraid, it will not burn you, because that is how you looked before you were incarnated on Earth.
You were that Light. Now become this Light anew! Admit it in yourself, open yourself to it and again become the one you have always been!
My dear, I would like so much to be with you in you place! That's a dear! So retain the openness of your Heart and the Spatiality of Existence, which is attached to nothing. Let things be as they actually are, rather than what you imagined them to be.
Don’t repel anything that might come to you or emerge in you. But at the same time you should not be attached to anything, don’t cling to anything or to anybody, either the living or images.
«My dear, (it would be best to communicate with the dead, using those forms of address that were common among you while they were still alive). You are not longer with me, but I am not afraid at all because I know that you have not disappear anywhere, that you are as alive as you used to be and have the same appearance, only I cannot see you.
But this is all right, your image will always remain in my heart and in my memory up to the moment when we meet again. And this is not long to wait for, because in the world where you are going now, time flows considerably more rapidly than here.
The most important thing, my dear, is that you are alive and that you are considerably better, and that you are no longer suffering and you are no longer in pain.
Therefore, try to calm down, leave everything and listen to what I am going to tell you before the departure, because it is extremely important.
So, you are alive, but here it is commonly supposed that you are dead, because we don’t see you already, and the body in which you quite recently dwelt no longer contains you and is absolutely useless.
But we shall bury it so that what belongs to this World will go back. Dust should return to dust. But you do not belong to that dust, hence, we shall not bury you. You are immortal, my dear!
My dear, enter your true Nature which is shining before you with magnificent Light. This bright Light is brilliant. There you could rest like a son is resting after a long separation with his home and his mother. So know Existence as it is.
When you enter the Light, — and you should definitely do that without wasting any time, — your Mind will be transformed into a pure shining Emptiness — the fundamental principle of Existence, whose nature lies in compassion and Love for all living creatures.
Don’t attach yourself to anything, don’t exchange the transient and perishable for infinite Divinity. Enter this Emptiness and dissolve yourself in the Light of your true Self.
This Bright Light is the shining heart of Jesus, this is the pure Light of Buddha, and this is a particle of God Himself. It is ever shining and immortal, without Birth and without Death, just like you.
You have always been that Light. Come to know It! Let go everything that misleads you, everything that promotes compaction rather than dissolution. Let everything go softly and quietly, without a minor effort. Simply, with all you inner Self, wish to become that Light. Enter your indivisible Nature, which is shining before your.
My dear, please don’t worry about anything, don’t be confused, for Heaven's sake, for my love of you enter softly into this Light, into the shining magnificence of your true nature. I am with you, and it means that there should be no fear. It is happiness that now the time of your Liberation has come. It is Liberation of your Soul from the heavy pressure of the Earth Matter.
My dear, listen to me very attentively, you know that I love you very much and wish you only well. Listen only to me and don’t pay attention to any astral liars if they surround you and are trying to lure you into their terrible toils.
I want very much to help you to do away with perplexity, indecision, illusions of separation, which seemed to you so valuable in this Life. Listen only to me and then you will be able to become free from attachments that caused you so much suffering and pain in the past.
My dear, listen only to me, don’t be distracted by anything even if Astral manifestations assume my similitude and start calling you, recovering the moments of our Life in your memory. Let go everything! The most responsible moment in your Life has come — your Death.
This is not you alone who left this World, millions of people perform this Transition to the other World daily and millions return. You not at all alone there. What happened to you sometimes occurs to everybody. Your time has come and now you are there.
I don’t know what words I shall use to convince you by no means be attachment to your former physical body from which you finally exited with such great difficulty. Now you see with your own eyes that Death does not exist at all in the form that you imagined.
What you actually are, your Consciousness, cannot depend in its existence on some perishable body. Don’t try to get back into it, listen to my advice! I only mean well!
You won’t be able to live in it any longer, you will simply fail to do it, because you are already dead. You are dead for us, but you are alive to a much greater extent than we are. Every your attempt to return will plunge you like a drug addict into Mind Illusions, deceptive lures, which actually do not exist, but there are horror and darkness, which are not real either, but can scare and delude.
Whatever you see around is only a spontaneous play of Mind, these are your pleasures and sufferings, your own recollections and desires, passions and vices. Hence, there is no reason for the slightest anxiety or worry, forget about them.
Realize all the emerging images, whether big or small, beautiful or ugly, only as movements of your own Mind. Don’t let a beautiful body, or a beautiful voice, or charming nature, or a magnificent house, whatever it might be, whatever your own fantasy and memory create, mislead you from your aspiration to the shining Light.
Move courageously and purposefully towards this Light. Become a pure space in which the flow continues. Repose in your elevated state, having liberated yourself from any previous activity and from all previous concerns, having forgotten all your doubts and fears and eliminated your separateness.
Repose in the immortality of your true Nature, having entered the great space of Existence, far from the Thought of the far and near, of the internal and external, far from any judgment and dualism characteristic of our earth Life.
Do not succumb to any distractions that give rise to resistance, return to your true Nature, to Infinitude, to the shining Space. Hover freely in this boundless space. Your adherence to Truth will help you.
I ask you and implore you, don’t waste time, don’t experience temptations but open yourself to Truth as soon as possible, trust your Divine Nature and enter the Light until it is before your.
For if it disappears you will remain alone, facing all the worst that accumulated in you in the course of all your Life. And this is the Hell which each of us has thoroughly and unconsciously prepared for himself after Death. I implore you: make a step towards the Light as soon as possible!
It is the shining of integrity of Existence, it is the Light of Unity, which is the basis of all things and any time it can break into millions of individual mental images and personal preferences.
Unless the Light has already faded away… In that case horrible, unbearable depression will seize you to absorb your Soul. Hence, hurry to enter this openness, don’t let your old attachments make it far and frightening.
All the horrible, attractive, exciting and tempting images that appear between you and the Light are absolutely unreal! This is like in a dream, – they all were born by your emotions and feelings, by your Mind, which is also already unreal. Hence you should not be confused and misled on their account. Only the shining light is real.
My dear, remember that no matter what images may appear between you and that Light, they are only deception, illusions, a mirage of the astral Matter, transformed and personified manifestations of all your old desires and aspirations you had during Life.
All that was generated by yourself and will fall to pieces if you are able to recognize yourself in them. Try it and you will see for yourself.
You have already reached a crucial point in your postmortal existence. Don’t identify yourself with anything, don’t become attached either to quiet or to excited states of your Consciousness, which are so well familiar to you from your past Life.
Let go everything that holds you, and stop resisting whatever it might be. It is time for you to melt and merge with your own true Nature, and become dissolved in the purity of the Primordial Light.
My dear, remain quiet and even-minded in any situation and watch everything happening around you from the depth of your Heart, sending your Love and joy of the great Liberation to all living creatures which will emerge and already appear before you.
Go forward and don’t stop for a moment in your strive to enter into the Light. Let everything that happens and emerges take their course.
Watch each individual image always remembering that all of them are a projection of your Mind and only seem independent and existing beyond your Consciousness. All that is self-deceit, empty shadows, which have accumulated in your Soul for many Lives. They should not distract you from the main purpose of your path – the eternal light and your merging with it.
It may happen that the brightness and shining of that Light will frighten you and old fears will try by all means to scare you from it, to take you off from it and divert you from your Objective and even tweedle you into a cold shade of the trees to protect yourself from its devastating shining.
You may think that you will burn in its fire, that it may destroy you. All that is a play of your Mind. Don’t let your past fears and attachments lead you astray and don’t be taken aback by anything and don’t lose Heart.
For it is the most responsible moment in your existence: your Divine Nature has emerge before you, which in no way is able to harm your true Self, but you only ought to recognize it and enter into it. But this is not so simple, and I know that, hence, I have been insistently imploring you to do it.
The subterfuges of your Mind are endless and diverse. The Mind may make hear awful shouts and groans of martyrs, howling of beasts, voices of hyenas and a gnash of the teeth. Remember that all that is a bluff, an attempt to scare you and lure into Astral illusions.
My dear, you no longer have your physical body of flesh and blood that you considered yourself when you were alive. Now you have made sure that you were mistaken and that you and your body were different entities. We shall soon bury your body and you will continue to live.
You are now dressed in a subtle astral-mental body of shining Consciousness, which experiences your own Thoughts, desires and feelings in the same way as you experienced external objects here. But all these sounds, colors, light and any mental projections cannot cause you the least harm.
You have ALREADY died and cannot die again. You only need get to your Home as soon as possible. And I want to help you in that.
You have now started the movement between Spheres which connect your present Death and your birth in the Subtle World with your future birth on the Physical Plane. And much will depend on whether you will be able to enter into the Light or will prefer submerging into temptations. Everything inside you as if became independent of you, but this is not so. This is deceit.
Unconscious tendencies and patterns accumulated by your Soul in the course of numerous Lives may create whole worlds of both pleasures and sufferings, taking them from the fantasies of your Mind until it is dissolved in your true Nature, – in the shining Light. And, the Mind does not want to be dissolved in anything, because it will immediately disappear and cease to be you master.
There is only one method to get rid of its oppression — to recognize yourself as the pure and endless Consciousness of Divine Existence, the Essence of Truth. Do not let your ignorant Mind to distort it. Fully trust it.
Don’t be attached to your old fear of hurting the body which you already do not have. There is no body but the fear remained and it arouses Thoughts that there is a danger for you.
What you really should save yourself from are your former illusions of your Mind. Don’t cling to anything. Abandon your old attachments and former fears, and escape from them into Space and Love, into the shining Light of Truth as soon as possible.
This Truth shines in the divine Heart of Christ, in the blissful calm of Buddha and may appear to you in the form which you place higher than anything else in the world. Enter into the shining Truth with confidence and calmly.
My dear, be calm, I am with you all the time, don’t worry. Admit all the sounds that you hear and all visible light simply as states of your own Consciousness.
Look at it as at a glimmering flame, which has its density and substance, which, depending on the state of your Consciousness, changes its forms and outlines, and exists only one moment to be immediately extinguished. You should not be afraid of what really does not exist. Fly like a butterfly only towards the light without being afraid of any barriers.
If despite all my reasoning you are afraid and step out from the Light, you will have to continue your roving. It means that One Light has become multiple, a rainbow through the spectra of which you will have to pass.
That might take very much time and, attracted by your own weaknesses and attachments, you may forget your true Self for long, identifying yourself with those mirages and images that you will engender yourself.
Now you will be everywhere accompanied by light varying in color and intensity, whose nature is in conformity with a particular level of your Consciousness. Your trials should begin with the overcoming of the worst that could not be destroyed in the course of Life and dying.
The most difficult of these obstacles are animal instincts and passions which you suppressed during your Life but will have to encounter literally face to face.
You may be tempted by some emerging or swimming-by images of all your unrealized or common sexual desires. In case you are tempted to get in touch with them, you may welter in the World of lewdness and vice, where these images will take you.
You may strive after temptations and pleasures into the depth a dim light, which lures you so much, promising the most refined and unthinkable satisfaction of your lowest passions and most secret desires.
Knowing that hazard, I shall remind you again and again that all those are chimeras of the Astral Plane, while your deep nature is the brightest Light, which you were afraid of and could not recognize. If it is still present, enter into it immediately, and allow yourself at last be the one who you always were — the Light.
For Heaven's sake, do it until it is too late! I beg you! But if you have lost your chance to become a part of God, I shall not abandon you and try to save or at least help you at a difficult moment.
My dear, as here on Earth will pass days and nights, the images arising in your Mind and surrounding you will change.
I want to remind you once again that all of them are only Thought-Forms, arising in your Mind, although they can talk and act quite independently, feeding on your energy. What you think or dream about will surround you and make up your Existence.
As they approach, all these images may be more or less light and even shining. In order to get rid of them you must try to let go everything that you created for your protection. For it is silly to try to protect yourself from yourself.
Each protection image creates an image of the enemy, aggravating the fear of becoming deprived of your illusory safety, increases your separation from EVERYTHING, binds your Consciousness to the form, to the body, that has a false value. Why do you need all that, if EVERYTHING is found in every object, in every moment of Existence?
If you become aggressive, your entire environment also will become aggressive towards you. You are them, all who surround you. If you become a slave of fear, momentarily the entire ambient environment will be filled with the same fearful images, arousing still greater fear.
Hence, reject aggression, fear and all negative emotions. Try to understand that those are merely fleeting sentiments, Thoughts, which like clouds in the sky swim among the endless Space of your perception.
Heaven forbid you from being consumed with secret low desires, unrealized vices, all possible pleasures, and to become again a slave of your former models of behavior, patterns and habits. Try as soon as possible to realize their danger and attraction to everything you used to have, which distracts Consciousness from movement to the Light.
Remember that they all are merely emanations of your own Mind. Softly let go everything that separates you from the infinitude of EVERYTHING. Open yourself to the integrity of Existence and merge with yourself.
Whatever is happening around is inseparable from your Mind, because this is your Mind itself personified into images. You should not fight against your surroundings like Don Quixote with wind-mills, but rather should be dissolved in it, in yourself and enter into this unity. You are the essence of EVERYTHING which EXISTS.
Don’t limit yourself to the boundaries of your Mind, your false knowledge; go beyond the boundaries of all forms. How can it be done? In a very simple way, my dear. You should not cling to your old attachments you had during Life, to former pleasures which are inseparably connected with former sufferings.
Let your Mind submerge into the Bright Light, when the first opportunity for that will appear, don’t resist it, but merely enjoy it without strain.
Any digression, even the slightest one, from these directions will bring about new sufferings, since attachment to old desires will immediately pull you into a cycle of further uncontrolled reincarnations.
Don’t attach yourself even to me, even Jesus, just fully dissolve yourself in Him, become Him. Trust the feel for Truth and become fully open to EVERYTHING. You should know that you are the very essence of your Consciousness.
Don’t despair in your roams over astral Worlds and Spheres which are so much different from what you are used to see here on Earth.
If you keep the image of Light in your Heart, the image of Christ, if you manage to realize yourself as Consciousness constantly present in you and experiencing everything that appears in perception, if you are not tempted by the minor, but will aspire to reach the Whole, you will soon find yourself in shining Divine Worlds, where there is no suffering. I shall try to help you in everything, at least in the beginning and remind you of dangers that wait for you.
You should know that you may encounter many of your acquaintances on your way among those who are still alive, and their behavior will be authentic. Don’t be deceived by these encounters. They are merely individual incidents of the play of memory, shadows, like those which move on a cinema screen, recorded on a film.
The screen is the flexible Astral Matter, and the film is your memory, your Mind. Don’t be carried away by this absurd play with your Past, which contains EVERYTHING, and you will become a part of Truth.
On your way Home, realize the omnipresent Truth, let only compassion and Love of all the living always accompany you. Be fully tolerant and let your Heart experience great compassion.
Regard all your old tendencies as what they actually are, — just clouds swimming in the bottomless space of your true Consciousness. Remain always awake and attentive. And always remember that you are the shining Light and fundamental principle of all things.
Upon dissolution of the body after death, the wicked are revived in an unhappy state of suffering or sorrow; the righteous are revived in a happy state on Heaven.

So, after the Death of the physical body human subtle bodies (etheric, astral and mental) begin to decompose one after another. At this time the Soul needs energy and emotional help from the living. In the Orthodox Church there is a tradition to make commemoration meetings of relatives on the third, ninth and fortieth day and in a year after Death.
Many people ask: Why do we have to commemorate the dead on the fortieth day? It is because the period of 40 days has an essential meaning not only after our Death, but also after our appearance in this World. Within 40 days the human Soul becomes acquainted with the Physical Plane and settles down on Earth after its appearance in the vortexes of coarse Matter.
When a child is born, the first 40 days its Consciousness is practically all the time in the Subtle World connected with the physical body and vibrations of its mother only by an invisible «astral cord». During this period their auras are united, and on the energy level they make up one organism instead of two, although the physical umbilical cord is cut off right after the child’s birth.
The Church is well aware of this. Therefore only after forty days from its birth, the newly born can be received into the church, and baptized as an independent, individual human being, while the mother offers a special prayer to break the union.
After Death a reverse process happens, when within forty earth days the human Soul breaks all karmic and emotional bonds, becoming free from energy vortexes of the Earth Astral Plane.
Day by day the Soul «reads» all the notes of «the Book of Life» related to its last incarnation, and with the help of Karma Lords it learns by its own experience all the evil deeds done during its Life to other people in order to realize in this way the Lie admitted by the human being and know the ways and possibilities to prevent it in the next incarnation.
Since we are talking about an average discarnated Soul and do not (yet) focus our attention on the dying of spiritually highly-developed persons, the funeral rituals, observance of the burial ceremony will be in accordance with the traditional system of Christianity.
Thus, within three days the Soul adjusts to new conditions of Life. And about nine days after Death the Soul “removes” its energy (karmic) traces in the place of its residence and in other places that the deceased used to visit most often during Life. If it does not happen for some reason, then their relatives or intimates may get the same disease and die.
During my astral explorations I saw those who died grievously and by all means resisted the release of their Soul from the body. Even many days after Death, they did not want to abandon the body under any pretext. Being in the depth of despair they would not understand that their Life on Earth came to its end and that it was time for them to continue their existence on a subtler energy-informational level, which is not only inexpressibly better and incomparably more beautiful than the previous one.
Having left the physical body, for some time the Soul is still with it, at least maintaining its energy closeness with it. If within Life the deceased failed to understand all aspect of their postmortal Transition, if they did not believe in a real possibility to live after Death, they cannot just «fall sleep» at once and stay as if attached to their decomposing body watching their own funeral.
In such cases, depending of the Consciousness level, the dead are either surprised at everything happening around, because they are yet absolutely uaware of the fact of their Death, or amused at the situation that they are buried as dead, although in fact they are “alive” assuming that it is a kind of strange joke which is about to be revealed.
Such deceased by all possible and available means try to attract the attention of those who surround them to tell everybody who knew them during Life that they are still alive, that it is an annoying and incomprehensible, that it is a strange and horrible game, that they no longer have any pain and feel well etc. But all is in vain.
They are in despair and they fail to recognize themselves in the mirror of reality around them. Like the blind they beat about in the dense swamp of their ignorance, noticing nothing, even those who come to meet them and see them home. Here starts the most dramatic process that can be compared with a slow “recovery of sight” and gradual realization that they continue to exist but no longer belong to the material World.
Such people are like shadows that have to trudge through the thorns of their delusions and errors for a long time, gradually finding a path to Light in the chaos of their inner content. But even such deceased, after a while, when the sorrows of their intimates and relatives cease a little and the bonds which the living use to attract Consciousness of the dead to this World weaken, step by step start to recognize their new path in Existence with the help of Light Beings and spiritual assistants.
This is already Death, but it is not yet the start of Life after Death, because the place where all such deceased come may be called as “the world of shadows”. In it, each Soul that failed to recognize itself in the Primordial Light meets with a great many of its own “shadows” and hosts of chaotic Thoughts converted by Astral Matter into fantastic “coming-alive” images.
Assistants of the Subtle World allow such Consciousnesses to stay for some time in this state, and then they begin to help them until the deceased fully know the Truth of their postmortal existence. If they show their goodwill in this respect and stop considering the new World as something strange and dangerous, this process will not last too long.
But it often happens that the Soul of the deceased persists in its attachments and refuses any help from those who accompany it, and prefers to stay alone with its karmic past. It has the right to do it, as after Death no one can force anyone to do anything in any way. In this case it will take just more time for the Soul to realize and know itself fully.
We may say that this can be the very most essential experience, which the Soul must have got in this particular incarnation, having finally realized that, after its so-called “physical Death”, it is no more a part of the former material World, but has joined AGAIN the One Whole, to Primordial Love.
As we have mentioned, there are some other essential moments during the Transition process, when, prior to acquire at least a partial self-lealization, the deceased have to stay in peace of mind and rest for some time, which is commonly understood as a deep sleep. You should not understand this transition state literally; Consciousness of the deceased just stays AS IF in Emptiness.
It mostly used to the persons who die the so-called accidental Death. When such “a sleeping” Soul “will live” in its dreams to the moment of its natural Death, it will be awaken and its guides will help it to recover Consciousness and settle down in a new World. Those deceased whose Consciousness was in a deep sleep of Illusion during Life will be awaken very slowly and carefully so that not to frighten too much their inexperienced Consciousness upon awakening and seeing its new environment.
In this case it will take some time for their spiritual awakening and realization of Existence in the beyond, depending on the quality of Consciousness and how deeply the Soul “slept in illusion” during Life. When this awakening finally happens, the deceased perceive it as if a clamp that ties up Consciousness suddenly breaks with crash, and everything around turns into a sunlit Space full of love, which fill the awaken Soul with inexpressible happiness. This is how many deceased described their awakening to me.
Also, there are many persons who during their Life on Earth sincerely believed that upon their Death nothing bad happens to them and they will continue an active Life after their Transition. These persons do not need to stay in a sleeping state, or to be awaken, since they naturally come round after a short period of unconciousness and begin to realize themselves in their new Life full of Love and Peace.
Deeply realized, infelt, sincere repentance for actions done during Life also attracts to the Soul energy vibrations that may be called Mercy of Knowledge. Then the further development of fully reclaimed sinners, if they managed to form high vibrations of astral, mental and causal bodies in their field capsule, can be not only within the levels of earth Space-Time, but can graciously continue on higher levels of planets that are more advanced than Earth.
THE FUNERAL is not only the last tribute to a person who participated in your Life, that is having a karmic connection with you, it is also a reminder to you that your Death is always somewhere near and you should think about the words and Thoughts that will be used at parting with your Soul by those who are now close to you or those who are away, forgotten, abased or unrighteously offended by you. THE FUNERAL is an ingenious way to remind the dead and those who wait the funeral that none of us, humans, is just the body, that Life and Death are much greater and deeper than we usually think.
THE FUNERAL is also a reminder that it is useless to seek God somewhere in Heaven, in Paradise, you should go inside yourself, letting your limited Mind submerge into the Heart and drink from the Source of Love and Wisdom. This is a chance for the living to open their Heart to grief, to show their compassion and to trust the one who is beyond physical perceptions. Let your Heart open wide in Love rather than close because of the fear of Death, testing yourself for compassion, vulnerability, transience.
THE FUNERAL is a possibility of Initiation both for the deceased and those who carry out the funeral. You should only understand that there is one objective both for the dead and the living: to reject consciously the Thought about their separation from Everything, to dissolve in the shining of their true Nature and unite with their Principle Source.
THE FUNERAL is another chance to try to finish all your business, to let go everything what separates you, and to acknowledge the fundamental unity of all living creatures on Earth and in the Cosmos. This is another chance for the Soul to realize that, although its former body is decomposing in the coffin, the essence of human beings is anywhere but not in the useless physical body.
Therefore you should not be scared of the body of the deceased. For three days, before and during the funeral, their Soul is constantly close, watching everything what is going on, feeling joy, sorrow and thinking about you.
THE COMMEMORATION MEETING is a mental energy-informational charging for the Soul necessary for its further transformations in the Subtle World: the more good things are said and thought about the deceased, the sooner and easier are the transformations of their Soul saturated with high vibrations of love and kindness.
Whether the body would be cremated, or buried, or decomposed in water is of no great importance TO THE DECEASED. Fire will just accelerate the body decomposition into molecular structures. The cremation procedure may be considered as a more humane way to bury the deceased, though there may be many objections.
Fathers of the Christian Church treat fire as a symbol of Hell and are completely unaware of the fact that Astral Fire (“the Consuming Fire) and physical fire are two different states of Matter, the latter has nothing to do with the Subtle World.
But the facts are stubborn: fire is the best means to clean energy of the Soul’s capsule from all the grossest and non-spiritual connections created during Life. It helps the Consciousness of the deceased to undergo more successfully and less painfully the first stages of the postmortal Transition and find a path to the individual Paradise, – to its own reincarnation cell, – thus finishing successfully another reincarnation cycle.
You all should understand that at the traditional burial the commemoration meeting, the necessity of which we have just mentioned, may become not a source of additional Energy for the Soul, but a big obstacle in its postmortal travel. It happens when relatives and intimates of the deceased start suffering, crying and bewailing the grievous loss instead of most pleasant and kind remembrances from their Life that give some Energy.
The extreme sorrow may gloom not only the whole Life of those who remained on Earth being a source of the so-called “psychological deficit” for them, but also brings many complications further existence of the Soul of the deceased. Therefore, you should accept the sorrow realizing the essence of dying and experience it intellectually not only in your Mind, but also emotionally in your Heart.
Do not weep grievously and do not sorrow for the deceased understanding the true meaning of Death as Liberation of the Soul from “a hard earth labor”. At the same time, do not be ashamed of crying. Tears not only purify your astral body, but also give energy for the Soul of the deceased. Talk mentally with the Soul, knowing that it is always next to you, it hears and understands everything, but cannot say anything. So, you talk to it, recollecting only good things and joyful moments from your Life together.
Your grievous loss and a frequent sorrowful remembering of the deceased create strong energy attachments that considerably complicate the natural movement of the Soul, taking away its precious Energy necessary to overcome various psychological obstacles. Therefore you try to understand all this and learn to take Death of those you love without grief, but as the beginning of a new light period in their Existence.
My generation, grown up in the former Soviet Union without faith in God, is a lost generation, which not but that has forgotten but simply know nothing what our fathers and grandfather did when their relative died. Therefore let me remind you that it is very good for deceased Christians to read “the Canon of Release of the Soul” and then to read as long as possible the Book of Psalms.
Last sacraments and burial service are very helpful for the outgoing Soul. You should have requiem services on the 3rd, 9th and 40th day, and repeat them on each death-day. During morning and evening prayers, do not forget to remember your deceased relatives. This is more necessary to your Soul then theirs.
For the Soul of the deceased it is a very solemn and responsible moment, because when it recollects it has a complete spiritual reassessment of its Life on Earth, of its attitude to everyone it knew during Life even for a short time. Therefore, when it enters into resonance with your Thoughts, let it have only the best opinion remembrance about you, especially if the deceased person had a wrong opinion about you during his/her Life.
The God that saves dwells in your souls, and manifests by making use of your own feet, and legs, and arms, and hands. Strength never comes through idleness; nor through a waiting for another one to bear your loads, or do the work that you are called to do.
But when you do your best to bear your loads, and do your work, you offer unto God a sacrifice well-pleasing in his sight. And then the Holy One breathes deep upon your glowing sacrificial coals, and makes them blaze aloft to fill your souls with light, and strength and helpfulness.
The most efficient prayer that men can offer to a god of any kind is helpfulness to those in need of help; for what you do for other men the Holy One will do for you.

Great Lord, remember the Souls of deceased, Your faithful servants, my parents (names) and all kinsman; and forgive all their witting and unwitting sins, give them Your Kingdom and communion of Your eternal blessing and Your infinite blissful joy of Life. (Bow).
Great Lord, remember all our fathers, brothers, sisters and other Christians who hope for Resurrection and eternal Life and together with Your saints, who satiate the light of Your countenance, give them Light and have mercy on us, for You are Good and the Lover of Man. (Bow).
Great Lord, forgive sins of all the deceased, our parents, brothers and sisters, for they died in faith and in hope for Resurrection and give them eternal memory. (Repeat three times).
God Almighty, Father of our Lord JesusChrist, we pray that You give salvation and understanding of Truth to all human beings, do not give sinners death but conversion and life. Release the Soul of Your servant (name) from any bonds, any given oath, forgive his/her sins made from the very youth, witting and unwitting, in deeds and in words, confessed, or neglected, or concealed.
For only You have the power to release, to rectify the broken, You are hope for the hopeless, only You can forgive sins of any human being who has confidence in You.
Even so, God, the Lover of Man! Use your power to release the Soul of your servant (name) from all carnal and sinful bonds and accept it to rest in peace in eternal chambers with Your saints, by the grace of Your Only-begotten Son, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, blessed be with Him, with Your Holy, Good, Life-giving Spirit living now and forever.
AMEN.
Also if you wish to provide efficient help to the person you love on the path to his/her real Home after Death, we recommend to use the text below for 1-2 weeks, sitting and communicating mentally with him/her looking at his/her picture near a burning candle.
First remember some moments of your Life together, talk about your feelings, love, with the person good luck on the path to his/her Home. Then you can read the following text replacing some words, depending on your relations with the deceased person.
“My dear, continue living! You must know that you are not dead, you continue living in the other world. You universal path is the same as here. Changes in our Life happen and will always be.
Let go all concerns about your body from your Consciousness, don’t be attached to the body, for it is only an emptiness, a useless form, because the world where you will live has more perfect forms.
Continue living! Everything you sensed, thought, felt here was connected with only with these forms, this emptiness. That is why don’t think about anything or anybody. All you left here will soon be together with you and to help each other in a new existence. Rush to a new moment that is as empty as primordial infinitude of Existence.
My dear, continue living! Actually nobody is born on this earth, therefore, nobody dies. There is neither fading, nor Death. What we call Life is illusion, and Death is just a dream. In reality we never separate from God, Who is Love.
You are not dead either. We just come here to fulfill something, and when we finish we go back to our Home. It is like a shift work, each time we change our bodies like working clothes. Our old body is getting old and is subject to decomposition, only our true clothes remain, which are eternal and infinite, beyond forms, sensations, thoughts and preferences.
My beloved, continue living! You must not have a grudge against anybody, because each person simply does his/her job, and no one knows the real purpose of it except God.
There are neither pure nor dirty people, neither bad nor good persons. There is no need to save you from anything or anybody. You should not be concerned about anything left here or any unfinished business. Don’t hold to anything, either to your old attachments, or usual forms, desires and habits.
My dear, continue living! Don’t take what you see for the Light in which you see it. Go beyond the limits of separation of yourself into body and mind, enter deeply into this Light, no matter how difficult it may be. Remember, those who keep the path of Light in Life and in Death do not reincarnate.
Those who prefer the path of darkness to the Light reincarnate again and again for new sufferings. Therefore, bravely merge with universal Existence! Realize the Truth as it is, dissolve in Oneness, in Love, and become Love yourself…
We all who are temporarily left here on the Physical Plane of Earth are worrying very much about you, thinking about you and we know that THERE, where you are now, there is no notion of Time and duration, with which we fool ourselves during Life. That is why very soon we shall all meet again, because no illusion of Death can make us stop loving each other.
God is above all Love! We are in God till we Love. It means that our Love to each other makes us immortal. Therefore, we don’t say “farewell”, we say “see you soon, my dear!”
The text can be modified depending on your relations with the deceased, but the meaning should remain the same. After two weeks you can read it once or twice a week, and later read it once or twice a year. Such reading will be very helpful not only for the deceased but also for you, for it will help all of you to let go your attachments, finish your business and obtain the words of guidance.
God speaks to hearts apart; and hearts apart must speak to him; and this is prayer. It is not prayer to shout at God, to stand, or sit, or kneel and tell him all about the sins of men. It is not prayer to tell the Holy One how great he is, how good he is, how strong and how compassionate.
God is not man to be bought up by praise of man. Prayer is the ardent wish that every way of life be light; that every act be crowned with good; that every living thing be prospered by our ministry. A noble deed, a helpful word is prayer; a fervent, an effectual prayer. The fount of prayer is in the heart; by Thought, not words, the heart is carried up to God, where it is blest.
The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ, 12:5-11
The Thought is a construction material of our Consciousness. See after purity of your Thoughts. Drive away mean, sordid, trivial, unworthy Thoughts. Avoid irritation, for it is very poisonous. The best purifier of Consciousness is a prayer coming from the bottom of your Heart. A Simple memorizing of prayers is of little use. It is essential to have aspiration of your Soul and an impulse in your Heart when you pray to God. You may even appeal to God with the simplest but sincere words: “Let all people feel good!”
Get rid of any malice, envy, acquisitiveness, mutual condemnation. Always and everywhere do good. Your Thoughts about everything and everyone should beautiful and pure. Even about NON-HUMANS, who only in the future will have to go through hardships of human incarnation, which you have now. They are our little brothers and all their unpleasing or immoral trait are taken from you. They are a reflection of all the worst that has been accumulated by an Angel’s Consciousness during its long existence in coarse-material forms.
You will never stop loving your cat or dog for its selfish, flighty disposition. Animals remain to be animals, although they try to imitate their masters in many things. We advise you to think about well-being of others, about well-being of the world, for it is the only way to purify your Consciousness from all pathologic bacilli of spiritual and moral decay.
By the way, the powerful word “AMEN” (as well as ”Alleluia”) is not a Jewish term, but was borrowed by the Jews and the Greeks from Chaldeans. At the present evolutionary stage of humankind such combination of sounds as «AUM», «AMEN’, «AMIN» is the highest. The words should be pronounced distinctly with drawling, imagining as the vibration of their sounds extends mightily throughout the whole Universe, attracting to you the attention and Energies of all light Divine Forces.
The power of these words is intensified when you repeat them seven times, or seven times seven. When you intone them, their pronunciation should remind the of the bells. The vibrations of these sounds, supported by your inviolable faith in GOD CREATOR will connect you with Higher Divine Energy, purifying your Soul, your house and Space around you. When these sounds are consciously pronounced in chorus they have a great purifying force.
The word “Amen” does not at all mean “so be it” or “verily” as many uninitiated people think. Its sounding corresponds to the symbol-word “AUM” and signifies the confirmation of Existence or Divine Being, i.e. One God inside us. You must know and understand exactly that every sound that we pronounce produces resonance of the corresponding sound in the Subtle World and brings into action this or that Force of Nature. Every sound or word finds its response, its echo on every Earth Plane and in all Forms of Earth Life, which fill the surrounding Space, and thus initiates the action of all these myriads of Lives.
If the word “AMEN” is pronounced by a spiritually pure person, it will induce actions or awake to activity not only of lower Forces of Planetary Spaces and Nature elements, but also the person’s Higher “Self” - God inside him/her. If this word is pronounced correctly it will help an average good person to raise his/her spiritual and moral level, especially if he/she uses AMEN words in a concentrated meditation on the power of the word inside himself/herself, when all attention is focused on the ineffable Greatness of God.
Woe is him who pronounces the word AMEN before or after committing a sinful action with far-reaching consequences, for the sounding of this mighty word can attract to his impure Aura hosts of invisible Presences of lower Forces, which eagerly wait for a call to action without which they cannot penetrate through the Divine Capsule of the Soul into human's Consciousness.
God hears the prayer of faith and when you ask in faith you shall receive. You may not ask amiss; God will not hear the prayer of any man who comes to him with blood of other men upon his hands.
And he who harbors envious Thoughts, and does not love his fellow men, may pray for ever unto God, and he will hear him not. God can do nothing more for men than they would do for other men
The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ, 153:8-11
Concerning the abovementioned we cannot but note that any prayer, if it is not CREATED MENTALLY and not purified by a pure Heart, if it is not addressed to God in silence and stillness of the Mind, most often has negative rather than positive consequences both for the person who prays and for those for whom is the prayer. People are absolutely unaware of the powerful effects that they produce with their prayers accompanied with trivial and selfish Thoughts or even simply with unconscious motives.
To have good consequences the prayer must be CREATED by a human being who knows how he/she can be heard in stillness of the Mind and in confidence of the Heart, when the prayer stops being a mere “supplication” and turns into an order that commands Forces and activate Energies of Higher Planes of Divine Being.
And Jesus said, Faith is the power of God. All things are possible for him who in his heart believes. There is no faith without the prayer of faith. Faith is the wings of prayer; but wings alone fly not.
The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus Christ, 130:10,19
Sincere and pure prayers not from the Mind but from the Heart are always effective. The deceased need our prayers, because after Death the Soul cannot radically change all by itself and start to live the way it understands and would like to, even if it wants to do it very much. The Soul needs help from outside to do it. But it can and do participate in our prayers addressed to it, if it wants to become quicker purified from the coarse vibrations of its astral body and make its stay in lower layers of the Astral Plane shorter.
The most effective are prayers offered in a church during the Divine Liturgy. This is the best you can do for the deceased during the forty days after Death. Do not be lazy and do not neglect your possibility to help your neighbor, for some day someone will take care of your Soul after your Death.
Christianity teaches us:
“The Souls of the righteous and saints and our deceased relatives who love us offer their prayers for us like we pray for them. Communication in a prayer between the living and the dead never stops”.
Here are two short prayers for the deceased:
“Jesus Christ, rest the Soul of Your servant (name) with saints, where there is no illness, no sorrow, no groan, but eternal Life”.
“Holy Vestal Virgin, who gave the Virgin Birth of Christ, pray for the salvation of his/her Soul”.
Our Lord, remember Your deceased servant, our brother/sister (name), in faith and hope for eternal life. For You are good and the Lover of Man, forgive his/her sins and wrongs, relieve and forgive all witting and unwitting sins, deliver him/her from eternal suffering in the fire of hell and give him/her communion and Your eternal blessed joy prepared for those who love You: who although sinned but have not belied You, who have doubtless Faith in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who believe in You, Glorious God in the Holy Trinity, who worshiped One in the Trinity to their death.
Have mercy on him/her, rest the Soul with saints, as You are generous, because there are no living men without a sin. You are the only One without a sin and Your truth is eternal. You are One God of mercy, largesse and the Lover of Man. We ascribe Glory to you, to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever.
Amen.
Death changes nothing in the moral and intellectual nature of human beings. After the change of their state caused by the Transition from one world into another, they remain the same as they were on Earth. Therefore, all abovementioned dangers that wait for the deceased on their postmortal path mostly refer to those with an underdeveloped or undeveloped astral body. Consciousnesses of all the rest, according to the Law of attraction of similar vibrations, will lead their Souls not burdened with vices to the reached level of postmortal existence quite quickly and painlessly.
The life of plant and flesh that goes to build the human house is never food for soul. The spirit does not feed upon the carcasses of animal, or plant. God feeds the soul direct from heaven; the bread of life comes from above. The air we breathe is charged with Holy Breath, and he who wishes may take this Holy Breath.
